One Word Photo Challenge: Orange

I know, I know, I have already put up orange themed photos this week, but I have some amazing orange funguses – I like that word more than fungi – in my yard, so wanted to share. They are growing on a dead tree limb.

Taken with my Fujifilm FinePix A607 camera, on macro, for this challenge at the blog of Jennifer Nichole Wells.

Next weeks colour is Eggplant. Huh? oh right, purple! used to be my favourite colour.

I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. Ha ha ha! I wouldn’t touch found funguses with a ten foot pole! We cleaned windows for an Italian family and you should have seen the stuff they preserved! I’m not even game to eat the old plain field mushroom now, not as soon as the flesh turns yellow as I peel it. I buy my mushies. You know, Carol Ann, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if it was edible. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr, yuk, gag.

Tell me what you're thinking.
