The flowers are getting smaller as the weather gets colder. (I had my phone on auto, not close-up)

I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. Oh yes, for sure Sue. These have been going for years and years … and years. My daughter was taken aback the first time she saw them. “But mum, gerberas are so hard to grow,” she said. In other words, she didn’t expect me to be able to grow them. But they just love it there by the fence. They were already flowering in single pots when I planted them. I’ve had no success with seedlings. This photo is a little blurry in the middle. I captured a fresh rainbow for you a little while ago, Sue. I’ll post it tomorrow. ❤

      1. I a-a-a-a-m …
        For what it’s worth.
Not triumphant but. Gave the new plantings a teeny bit of food this-morning, as every second Saturday I feed ’em all. Still keeping the fingers crossed, Christine ! 🙂
