I am catching up on Avian101’s blog, and while reading this past post about feathers (part 1) – I recalled this photo from my walk this morning. I expect it is from a sulphur-crested white cockatoo. It looks so delicate atop the crispy dead gum leaves.

    1. Nothing else about snowy white like this I think, except for the cockatoos. It’s one of the insulating feathers, for sure, and an appropriate size. Thanks for dropping by HJ. 😀
