Magpies

Taken on the Nokia 520 a few days ago.

magpies

magpies2Today, I almost let the blank page intimidate me. But I got started on the rewrite late this afternoon. Only about 760 words, but they will flow much easier from now on.

I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. I haven’t been feeding the cockies this week, and they landed in the tree screeching blue murder yesterday. I relented, but it took half an hour before the three of them came down. My camera arm was sore, from the waiting.

    1. Thanks Barbara, we have a lovely blue sky again today and the thermometer says 13 C! Spring is springing, at last, with still most of the month to go. 🙂 Dash it all, it was blue before. I’ve just glanced out, all grey on my side of the room. (: I better bring in the washing. I must drop by your blog sooner, rather than later, Barbara. ❤

    1. They are beautiful, Janet. Our magpies are protected, but one can get the council to take care of any really dangerous birds. These ones are getting used to me, and letting me get closer – despite the dog. They’ll be nesting soon, so I better keep my eyes open. 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed the photos.
