I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. No swimming Sue. The swimming pool is not far away and was closed yesterday – in January! The lake is geared for wild-fowl, lots of reeds and shrubbery. The ibis flock seems to live out in the centre somewhere. Not sure about yabbies, Sue.

      1. I don’t think any of those photos actually have a tea-tree in them, though maybe some of the smaller bushes on the island will be. One of the homes. I’ve seen them wild as well as in gardens. They have tiny leaves, but I can’t remember any particular smell other than a bit like eucalyptus smell, not as strong. They have masses of pretty little flowers, mainly in pinks and white.
