I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. Hello Heather, wonderful to see you! I’ve been very slack with Instagram and have been thinking I better go see what you are up to. I’ve got a new camera (2nd hand) so can get right in among the cockies now! I’m off to check out your blog. Thanks for dropping in!

      1. Thank you. I brought it on eBay, which is always a risk, but it had less than 600 shutter releases on it, so it was practically brand new (Nikon D3000 SLR) I have to learn how to use it, have it on auto. I’m so used to point and shoot, it’s a steep learning curve. I [promise to log into Instagram and visit – that’s the reason I haven’t been, I’ve been too lazy to find my log in details. 😮
