Honey-eater antics

That pesky New Holland Honey-eater has been taunting me, again, with its aerial antics. I feel so useless with my wonderful new secondhand camera – knowing it is impossible for me to get a decent photograph without proper settings, but it does not stop me from trying!

I did not even know that I had this next shot until I imported images from the card – an upside-down energetic insect-snatcher.

Thanks for looking. Do have a good day!  🙂

I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. I think that is how I got this one! The camera will do a few in succession until it fills the buffer on the way to the card.I still haven’t got a tripod. I could aim the camera at its usual spot. This one has my shake in it, I reckon.
