I missed the deadline

Oh gosh, I am never going to change, it seems!

I missed the deadline for uploading the final manuscript by minutes. And to think I actually scoffed when Derek Murphy said it happened to him. So, I was in a bit of a quandary yesterday.

Should I let the rough, unfinished story go out to the seven persons who have Taniel on preorder and run the risk that they are not family and blog friends and it’s me, not Taniel , who ends up with a scathing review? It would be okay if they do not read it right away, since it would be automatically updated  – but then they might not have that function activated on their reading device. Too risky.

I decided it is best that I unpublish the preorder, then publish the proper version in the normal way. In a way, it is good, as I didn’t have time to check the full thing looking for repetition of my pet words which might have sneaked in during the revision. I badly underestimated the time needed to finalize the manuscript for upload.

The publishing date of February 18th still stands – yes, this year.  🙂

So, be not alarmed if it is you receiving the Amazon email saying Taniel is now unavailable. Thanks for your support.
