I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

  1. When I was little the people at the back had a wire rigged up high above the house for their radio and the Kookaburras used to perch on that. It always surprised me that they were as small as they were. Expected them to be a lot bigger for some reason.
