A New Theme

I’ve been at it again.

Remember, before the merge, I said I couldn’t find a theme I liked. Back then, I’d only searched through the Premium themes available for free with my upgraded blog. Turns out that this one – Ryu – is always free and acts like the old DuoTone by taking on the dominant colour of the first image in the post.

Pacific Black Duck (Nikon D3000 DSLR)

There is no real sidebar but I haven’t used one of those for ages. Widgets are in the top menu bar. Nothing to tempt you away from the in-your-face images.  Of course, the size is wasted if you’re using a tablet or phone. Are you using a bigger screen?

Hmmm? Tell me what you think.

I started blogging in an effort to keep the old brain cells alive. I'm writing a fantasy series, I take more MOOCs than I can handle, and am trying to get my Nikon D3000 off auto. I live in Victoria, Australia, with my husband and our dog, Vika.

    1. These ducks are from my Nikon D3000 DSLR camera. I usually say which camera I’m using, Paula. Forgot this time. Bet it’s cold down your way! I must pop over to your blog and see what you have been up to. Thanks for dropping in to my new place on the web. 🙂 PS – I deleted the other post. All new ones have to go through moderation.

  1. Oh heck, you frightened the life out of me, Maggie – couldn’t live without a like button! Already lost the likes on my imported posts. I discovered just the ‘image’ posts affect the background. A ‘standard’ post has a sidebar thing and the title where it should be instead of lurking at the bottom of the post. Thanks for dropping in. 🙂

Tell me what you're thinking.
