Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Painted Haybales

So here we go, I thought it about time I joined in again for this weekly photo challenge over at Cee’s.  A new theme every Tuesday, this week is anything painted.

I was considering giving you a boring photo of peeling paint, but I had a stroke of luck yesterday on our trip to visit Mr R’s mum when we spotted these painted haybales just off the Digger’s Rest / Bulla Road.

Painted Haybales

I’m fairly certain they are characters from SpongeBob Squarepants. [Sue and Claudette inform me that the middle one is a Minion, from the movie ‘Despicable Me.’]

They brought a smile to this old girl’s dial! Have a good day and thanks for looking. 🙂

Works for me.

I think the default on this camera phone is Windows 8 CameraPro. Last week, I finally discovered that there isn’t a macro or closeup setting on the new Nokia Camera – no wonder I was having trouble. I’ve downloaded an app to take care of this, but have yet to learn to use it.  I hate not having a side camera button, like on the Nokia Lumia 520.

I hope you are having a lovely day.  🙂

I’ve had fun experimenting with textures on my Nokia Lumia 530, then turning photos into black and white with the Lumia Photo Editor.

I took a grouse portrait of Vika, too, but saving it for next week: the prompt is animals.  🙂
